This policy seeks to ensure that the educational experience takes place in an inclusive environment of mutual respect and reciprocal dignified treatment, as well as to address the University’s commitment to safeguard healthy coexistence and respect in the university community.
Gender Equality Committee
The School of Engineering, based on the School’s development plan, has declared the objective of permanently updating the classroom and online academic offerings, generating alliances with our graduate and strategic partners in external certifications, following the definitions of the UNAB educational model and generating actions that help to promote gender equity in engineering careers.
Committee for Gender Equity and Women's Leadership
The Gender Equity and Women’s Leadership Committee was created in 2021 to respond to the need to create an institutional culture that promotes gender equity in science, within the organization and with concrete results. This committee is made up of academics from various scientific disciplines, with the aim of having a multidisciplinary group, with technical expertise in the subject and that can contribute to the discussion and direct the initiatives of the Vice Rector’s Office for Research and Doctoral Studies of the Universidad Andrés Bello.
