In a new edition of our ABC’s of Sustainability UNAB we addressed the issue of “clean production”. Do you know the term? Dr. Edmundo Muñoz explains more in this video. Clean production is a strategy that companies apply to their production processes in order to reduce risks to our health and the environment, among others. This production allows us to save raw materials and energy, in addition to reducing polluting emissions. Edmundo Muñoz is an environmental engineer with a Master’s degree in Natural Resources Sciences and a PhD in Engineering. Currently, he is director of Postgraduate and Continuing Education at the Faculty of Life Sciences of Universidad Andrés Bello.
